Peter immediately wrapped his arms around her and pulled her inside, shutting the door with his foot behind them.

His arms are still around her when he pulls just far enough away to look Liz in the face. He frowns. It didn't feel right to ask her if she was okay, because he knew with one look that she wasn't. Instead he asks:

"What happened?"
