When Peter walked away, Liz's crying seemed to subside a little to less violent sobbing. She wiped away at her face, trying to dry her face. But when he came back and she made eye contact with Peter again, her face twisted anew and there was renewed crying despite herself. Somehow, though, she managed to hold onto the glass water, though it shook as she tried to get her crying under control.
