"I can't really imagine she wouldn't," Peter says. "I think she likes any excuse she has for a celebration."

Caroline kind of had that reputation.

"May and I used to go to the roof of our apartment on the 4th and watch the fireworks from there. They're not as extravagant as the New Year's fireworks, but it's still nice."
