We have a library now. I never thought about how much I enjoyed books until I didn't have access to many of them anymore. I can feel all my former English teachers back home in Roswell giving me an 'I told you so' expression when I told them I much preferred science over English. I now know the truth is I like English a lot, too.

Speaking of teachers, I'm really glad to have Kitty and Piotr giving me lessons like this is some really weird, alternative boarding school. The work is challenging - especially Piotr's because drawing has never come naturally to me. But I'm happy and it makes me feel normal, or at least as normal as someone can while being stuck in an alternate dimension.
