Wednesday Jan 23

Liz felt like she was behind which was silly considering she wasn't in actual school and there were no state-wide exams or anything else which would require her to keep up with her studies at regular pace. Still, it bothered Liz that for almost two weeks now her classes and everything had been at a virtual stand still.

She was thankful for getting some notes from Peter and that he promised to help her study. She sat up on the bed, back against the headboard and knees up with her book open. "Do you like having Ned in Kitty's classes now?" She wondered if it was a nice reminder of home or a painful one.

“Ignore her,” Loki told Peter. “About that, at least. If she doesn’t have control yet, why should you be expected to? I suggest instead that you’re the most likely person to trigger it until we, or Liz rather, works out actual control. Try to provide calm or distraction when you see sparks, take her through breathing if necessary, be normal otherwise. She’s not broken or sick,” Loki gave the girl a look, “so don’t let her act like she is.”

Peter looks at Loki and nods solemnly. "Okay. I can do that." He'd seen Loki do it, so he could try it, too.

“Also, mind the martyr tendency,” Loki added to Peter, reminded. “She tends to keep things internal until the stress becomes intolerable, and then she does a series of stupid things.” He returned his attention to Liz. “I’ll try to help you, of course. Powers are powers, and I know a few tricks. Failing that, I’m certain Thor would be willing to try as well.” Emma in the kitchens might not be a bad option, either.

"Okay." Peter had a martyr tendency himself, whether he could consciously admit it or not. He understood well that he always tried to put other people first.

"Thanks for your help." He really is grateful. Peter never thought that he'd be thanking the guy who attacked New York City for anything, but here he was.

The inn had really changed things for all of them.

Peter blinks. "Why wouldn't I be?"
st_arkintern: (Secretly pleased.)

"What I signed up for is you," he says, looking at her. "So it is what I signed up for."

"I love you, too."

Peter presses a kiss to Liz's forehead. "Wanna head back to your room?"
